Mark Moores
Mark is an expert on the interface between sustainability and web3. He is the CEO of Carby, an innovative platform that enables carbon credit projects to raise funding more rapidly and much more cheaply. He is also a Director of HubTropolis, which is reinventing the urban environment for sustainable abundance and Agenci, which is empowering people’s lives through knowledge of their unique ways of Knowing, Being and Doing. He is also a Board level advisor for other international businesses.
Mark qualified as a chartered accountant with Grant Thornton in London and has an MBA from WBS. Mark worked for the FTSE 250 listed Rank Group plc in various head office finance and business development positions, taking on a final role as Director of Financial Control of Deluxe Media Services Europe prior to selling the business.For the last 14 years he has worked for start-ups as CFO and as a consultant. Recently he has been co-authoring aVerra carbon credit methodology for cryptocurrencies, and has built strong relationships with key organisationsin the carbon markets.
